New season launches for an iconic fashion brand.
We made friends with Ben Sherman just after we launched trips to The Great Barn, back in early 2011. They kindly featured us on their website and in a newsletter, and ran a competition for a group of six friends to come and stay with us in Devon.
We were then asked to suggest spaces that Ben Sherman could use for their twice-yearly new season launches, when their international buyers from around the world all come into London for a two day showcase and catch up. We were asked to suggest spaces, write a Great British menu that worked alongside Ben Sherman's Great British heritage, and build a dinner party around a series of speakers, films and presentations.
The Spring/Summer 2013 launch was held in a three story Victorian Warehouse, with 150 guests being walked across Tower Bridge, down a South Bank back street, through a huge 1930s garage and into the warehouse behind. For the Autumn/Winter 2014 launch we took the 150 buyers from their hotel to the Tower Hill pier, onto a chartered Thames Clipper, and up the river to a private jetty and London's only remaining lighthouse, opposite the O2; drinks and canapés on the riverside, then into a huge old chain store for dinner.
